Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form part of your agreement with Millie Japonica Energy Healing (Millie Millard, Sole Trader) and your booking of a treatment will form acceptance of these Terms and Conditions when you become a client. For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, Millie will constitute as the Therapist and you the Client. Millie is Level 2 Reiki qualified.

Millie Japonica Energy Healing promise to the Client:

Excellent customer care, treating the Client with dignity and respect.
To provide a safe and confidential setting for the Client to receive treatment.
To treat the Client with suitable and beneficial therapies to meet their individual needs.
Deliver good customer service by responding to all enquiries within 48 hours.
Client information will be kept strictly private and confidential.
The Therapist has the right to cancel any appointment after consultation, if the Therapist feels it is in the best interest for the Client and/or Therapist that the treatment does not go ahead.
The Therapist can signpost a potential Client to another therapist if it is considered a possible conflict of interest to provide treatments.

The Client promise to Millie Japonica Energy Healing:

The Client is required to arrive on time for each treatment. For late arrivals the treatment time will be reduced.
Payment for treatments must be made in full before the beginning of each visit or session.
Payment can be made by internet bank transfer (please ask for details) or cash directly to the Therapist.
48 hours notice of cancellation or postponement is required for all appointments.
Notice of less than 48 hours will incur full payment of the treatment fee.
Unforeseen events will be taken into consideration on the day.
Once purchased the Client's treatment is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
The Client understands and agrees that it is the Clients responsibility to inform the Therapist of any conditions or changes to the Client's health, now and on-going, which may affect the Client receiving a treatment.
The Therapist cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.
The Client understands that this therapy is not a substitute for medical advice and/or treatment.

The Therapist shall not be liable for any loss or injury attributable to:

The Client's fault.
A third party unconnected with the provision of services provided by the Therapist.
Loss or damage to the Client's property whilst attending home visits.
The Client ignoring recommendations by the Therapist at any time to seek medical advice.

General, Privacy, Consent

The Client is responsible for keeping all contact information and marketing preferences up to date with the Therapist.
The Therapist will only do what the Client asks him/her to do, or what the Client has given permission to do with any personal or sensitive information held about the Client.
When a treatment is booked, the Therapist will collect personal details such as name, email and telephone numbers. This information is used to identify and contact the Client about appointments and services the Client has booked.
When the Client provides the Therapist with personal information through the treatment consultation process, making a payment or contacting the Therapist about their services, the Client is giving consent to the Therapist collecting that information and using it for that specific reason.
The Therapist will not use the Client's personal information for any secondary reason, like marketing, unless the Therapist asks the Client directly for consent to do so.
For the purpose of legal protection, the therapist is required to hold the personal information the Client has given to them to provide the Client with treatments for a minimum of ten years.
Ten years after the Client's last treatment, Millie Japonica Energy Healing will permanently delete all of the Client's personal information held.
Should the client wish to withdraw consent regarding personal information, please email the Therapist with that request.
The Client has the right to review their personal information Millie Japonica Energy Healing stores at any time and is able to update or amend if incorrect.
